Result and Progressions
The Results and Progression (RAP) team are responsible for coordination of Board of Examiners (BoE), publication of results, outstanding and interim results, Termination appeals and Student Progression Agreements (SPAs).
Board of Examiner (BoE)
The Board of Examiners (BoE) coordinates and determines student results and academic statuses at the end of the each study period (including OUA study periods). The Result and Progression Team perform the technical functions of ratifying results and academic status, and coordination of other Board of Examiner related tasks.
A list of these tasks can be found in the Assessment and Student Progression Manual.
Board or Examiner Preparation
Results and Progression Team contact unit coordinators and academic staff in advance of the BoE with deadlines for academic staff to perform important functions (such as extraction of grades). Some of these functions are outlined in the online calendar.
The RAP Team will liaise with Chairs of BoE’s in regards to meeting dates/times and other BOE related matters. Each Result and Progression Advisor coordinates a specific Faculty; they can be contacted by emailing BOE@curtin.edu.au.

The Results and Progression Team is responsible for publishing all ratified results to students. Students can access their results through eStudent in OASIS. They are available from 12:01AM AWST on the result publication deadline.
Interim results
An interim result is a grade not finalised at a BoE (DA/OA/GNS/X). The Result and Progression Team will send a spreadsheet to Unit Coordinators after a BoE detailing any interim results. The Unit Coordinator is then responsible for submitting Change of Result as interim results are finalised.
Weekly Review of Academic Status
The RAP Team send a spreadsheet weekly to all Change of Academic Status reviewers detailing change of results that have occurred over the previous week that may need a status review. Change of statuses can be made on the Change of Academic Status online form.
To request approver access, or change existing access, please email progressions@curtin.edu.au.
Further Assessments
The RAP Team sends an Official Communication on result publication to students who have been granted a Further Assessment (noted as a ‘X’ grade on the student record). Unit coordinators can choose to centrally schedule their Further Assessment, or schedule it locally (School-Based).
