Making a positive impact on society is embedded in Curtin University’s values. We aren’t the only ones interested in creating impact. Funders and industry partners drive collaborations to co-deliver impact in the community and around the globe. To measure these collaborations, national assessments and rankings, such as the ARC Engagement & Impact Assessment, have emerged and require universities to demonstrate their impact on society.
However, reputation and assessment is not our sole measure of success. We recognise that the pathway to making societal change is long, and celebrate all milestones in that journey.
The goal of the Research Engagement and Impact (EI) Team is to enable researchers to develop an impact pathway that best suits their priorities. We achieve this through providing:
- Knowledge on how to create pathways to impact
- Support on how to capture and communicate impact
- Support on how to connect to resources to facilitate impact goals
